The Fish Market Kitchen is coming back tous again this year with some fantastic chefs showcasing some of Angus and Tayside’s finest cuisine. The programme will run over the full two days so you can enjoy the rest of the Seafest at your leisure. We are proud to have Jamie Scott of the Colliston Inn returning to us on Sunday and we start the weekend with the head chef from Lands of Loyal, Gavin Thompson on Saturday.
The Fish Market Kitchen was introduced in 2009 and since then we have recieved a great deal of support and aim to promote local businesses, in particular hotels and restaurants with great food. Where possible all of the chefs will use local produce and there will of course be time to sample some of the dishes over the weekend.
Along with the cookery demonstrations the Fish Market area also houses, Arbroath Quality Fish where you can come and enjoy some dressed crab, lobster and mussels amongst other sea food favourites, Mackays will be there with a great selection of jams, chutneys and other preserves,we are also delighted to have Jewel-Ar-Lee back with their lovely sparkly jewellery and along side all of this will be the team from Dundee Heritage Trust promoting the RS Discovery.
The Fish Market Kitchen really does have a lot to offer so please come to the harbour and join in. All of the chefs that come and enjoy the cookery demonstrations at the Sea Fest are highly skilled and look forward to their time at this event and we are very happy to have them with us.
